-“What is an Entrepreneur Warrior? ” Dr. W. Wuttenee, (2004) discusses in her work about the economic warrior, so I gave this work a spin on her term, and went with “Entrepreneur Warrior”. For the Anishinabek Nation, Union of Ontario Indians, I coordinated a north and south session to collect data on entrepreneurship & how it looks & what is needed to build up for creating curriculum for the Anishinabek Educational Institute. Meetings were held in Toronto at the Chelsea on March 27th and in Thunder Bay at the Prince Arthur on March 29th. Connecting Through Stories” brought a diverse group of people together to explore relationships and connection to land through art making. The event contributed to Article 63 of the Call to Actions contained in the Truth and Reconciliation Report, which calls for “building student capacity for intercultural understanding, empathy, and mutual respect,” and Article 83, which calls for “a strategy for Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists to undertake collaborative projects and produce works that contribute to the reconciliation process”, with generous support of HC Link, the Thunder Bay Art Gallery, beSuperior Consulting and artist Crystal Nielsen. In 2004, Richmond-Saravia launched an anti bullying campaign at Nishnawbe Aski Nation(NAN) Education Department which included a poster series, a report on bullying in the Nishnawbe Aski Nation territory, and other promotional anti bullying materials which was specific to the NAN territory. This went to all 49 communities in the NAN territory.
In 2007, Curriculum and program delivery for the Awo Taan Parent Link Centre in Calgary in the area of anti bullying for students based on the Seven Sacred Teachings to a partner school in Calgary.
In 2012, Physical Education and Health, Social Studies and Music was developed for Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON for the Native Teacher Education Program.
In 2015, a program for Elders based on learning about their Human Rights took place with the Thunder Bay Indian Friendship Centre. Elders learned about the following topics in relation to Human Rights: Income Security, Housing, Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women, Wills and Estates, Self Care, and built a Human Rights Quilt alongside while learning about these topic areas. A manual was created for the Elders to keep.
